Kung Fu Wushu ACT wishes to invite older Canberrans, and Canberrans with a disability to experience the benefits of training in Kung Fu/Wushu.

Kung Fu Wushu ACT is proud and grateful to acknowledge ACT Government support for its Overcoming Challenges Programme through a grant from the ACT Government’s Community Sport and Recreation Development Program

 This Programme is aimed to help Canberrans who are 65 or older, and Canberrans with a disability to reach more of their potential – and to enjoy life more, by being active.

2015 World Wushu Championships Taolu Team Announced

The Trials for the Australian Representative Team (Taolu) for the 2015 WorldWushu Championships, to be held in Jakarta in November.
The team will comprise of:

The trials/eliminations for the Sanda representative Team will take place in conjunction with the Australian Championships on Sunday May 3, 2015 at Ryde Community Centre.

Appointment of Sanda High Performance Coach Confirmed

KWA President, Walt Missingham, has confirmed the appointment of Robert
Williams as the first High Performance Coach for Sanda.
 
Walt commented “Rob’s successes and commitment to the development of Sanda
have been unswerving and exemplary, he is worthy recipient of this
appointment which will only enhance our already strong presence on the
international sanda competition stage.

Appointment of Taolu High Performance Coach Confirmed

KWA President, Walt Missingham, has confirmed the appointment of Dr Kee Tan
as the first High Performance Coach for Taolu. Walt commented “Kee’s
achievements and dedication to the development of wushu have been
outstanding, he is thoroughly deserving of this appointment which I am sure
will only improve on our already outstanding international competitions
successes”.

2015 Australian Kung Fu Wushu Championships

Kung Fu Wushu NSW is pleased to announce it will be hosting the 2015 Australian Kung-Fu Wushu Championships. It will be held on Sunday May 3, 2015 at Ryde Community Centre.

Registrations are done online at www.2015nationals.eventbrite.com.au

Entries close on April 3, 2015.
